Better Late Than Never

I could quite easily have been here along with the much reported recent visitors. Luckily, without knowing of the intentions to virtually lock down Dublin earlier this week, my flight timing was excellent. Pure luck.
And so the whole trip went pretty smoothly except  for the A320 which danced along the runway at Dublin airport. Just after it took off from Prague, the pilot mentioned the strong winds in Ireland, finishing with, "But more about that later!". As the plane was lunging down to the runway  he drew our attention to the position of the emergency doors - worrying.

The foto is all I can muster at the moment having only just arrived. A big rambling warren of corridors and doors lurks behind this rather pleasantly old fashioned shop front. I am in a 12 bed dorm on the roof of the building behind this one. The WiFi here is great but I wasn't expecting to find that they use the same chunky 3 pin electrical plugs as in Britain. I had to borrow an adapter from the reception. I suppose it makes sense given the history of the Emerald Isle. The nearby Bleeding Horse pub must also have a history with a name like that.
So, had my fill of a long awaited plate of fish 'n' chips and quite honestly cant wait to get some sleep.
